柔らかな受け答えは憤りを鎮め 
傷つける言葉は怒りをあおる。 

By a soft answer wrath is turned away, 
but a bitter word is a cause of angry feelings.

因 為 耶 和 華 知 道 義 人 的 道 路 ． 惡 人 的 道 路 、 卻 必 滅 亡 。 

神に従う人の道を主は知っていてくださる。

神に逆らう者の道は滅びに至る。

Because the Lord sees the way of the upright, but the end of the sinner is destruction.
